Deleting VoD content

VOD content items can only be deleted via a content import.

To delete a VOD content item:

1. In OpCon, display the VOD content item

2. Make a note of the configuration details to be deleted, for example:

   • Editorial content

   • Technical content

   • Editorial channel

   • Technical channel

   • Playable asset

   • Security information

   • Parental rating

   • Reference asset

3. Referring to  Deleting content, add the relevant delete elements to the import file XSD in the correct order:

   • <deletePlayableAsset>

   • <deleteSecurityInfo>

   • <deleteParentalRating>

   • <deleteReferenceAsset>

   • <deleteTechnicalContent>

   • <deleteTechnicalChannel>

   • <deleteEditorialChannel>

   • <deleteEditorialContent>

   To delete the whole season or series, you would also include:

   • <deleteContentGroup>

4. Upload the import file XSD in the normal manner.
