Ingest default images

You can ingest default images and their metadata into the Image Handler Service (IHS). When IHS cannot find a suitable image to match the client request (either in its local image store or from Gracenote), it uses one of the default images (with the appropriate size adjustments to match the request).

IHS supports the following ingest use cases for default images:

• Create a default image
• Update a default image's metadata
• Get a default image's metadata
• Get a list of default images and their metadata
• Delete a default image and its metadata
