Overview
The metadata purge functionality allows you to purge metadata for individual types of entity. Because of dependencies between the different entity types (for example, CPM cannot purge an editorial content if there are any events or technical contents associated with it), you should purge them in the following order:

Events

Content publishing windows

Technical contents
-
Editorial contents
-
Transactional products
Other services also purge expired metadata. Their purge processes are triggered automatically by CPM. You do not need to make any additional API requests.
