Devices

All the devices used by the subscriber to access the system will be displayed on this page. Here you can:

  • Approve and remove device approval

  • Activate and deactivate devices

  • Disable and enable devices

  • Delete devices

To display the Devices page, on the Account List page, display the account in View mode and select the required Devices tab.
On the Devices page, there are separate tabs for Open and Managed devices.
Click the device row to display its details.

Approving and unapproving devices

This section may not be visible for some operators.

You can approve the Open devices used by the subscriber. The number of approved devices and the number of changes that you can make is configured in the Account Profile.

To approve a device, either:

  • Drag the device from the All Devices list and drop it into the Approved Devices list.

  • Select add_blue.png  Move to approved from the  menu_black.png menu for that device.

To remove approval for a device, either:

  • Click the Remove  remove_red.png icon for that device.

  • Select  remove_red.png Remove from approved from the  menu_black.png menu for that device.

Activating and deactivating devices

To activate an Open device, select  check_round_black.png Activate device from the  menu_black.png menu for that device.

To deactivate an Open device, select  remove_circle_black_resized.png Deactivate device from the  menu_black.png menu for that device.

Disabling and enabling devices

If the account has more Open devices registered against it than its profile allows, you can disable devices to allow other devices to be enabled.

To disable an Open device, select  remove_black.png Disable device from the  menu_black.png menu for that device.

To enable an Open device, select  check_round_black.png Enable device from the  menu_black.png menu for that device.

Adding custom details

To add custom details for a device:

  1. Click the device, and on the details page, expand the Custom section.

  2. Select the required custom device fields from the drop-down list and click ADD FIELD.

  3. Depending on the selection made above, enter or select the required information.

  4. Click the SAVE CHANGES button. A confirmation screen is displayed; click the SAVE button.

Deleting devices

To delete an Open or Managed device, select  delete_red.png Delete device from the  menu_black.png menu for that device.
