Live subscriptions

The Live Subscriptions page lists all the configured Live subscription products. 

To view the Live Subscriptions page, select PRODUCTS from the top menu and Live.png  Live in the left panel.

Viewing Live subscriptions

To view the details of a Live subscription, select the required subscription and click Details .

To view the items in a Live subscription, select the required subscription and click Items . 

Editing Live subscription details

Use this to edit the details of a Live subscription.

  1. Select the Live subscription and click Details .

  2. In the right-panel, click EDIT .

  3. Referring to the Subscription details below, enter and select the required information.

  4. Update the custom details as required.

  5. Click the SAVE CHANGES button to save the changes.

Field

Description

Name

Enter a name for the Live product.

Title

Enter a title for the Live product.

Description

Enter a description for the Live product.

Product Validity 

Enter or select the dates when the Live product will be available.

Purchase Validity

Enter or select the dates when the Live product will be on sale.

Subscription Type

Select Free or Paid Subscription.

Currency

If you chose Paid Subscription, select the currency for the Live product.

Price 

If you chose Paid Subscription, enter the sale price for the Live product.

Billing Cycle

If you chose Paid Subscription, enter the frequency to bill the subscription.

Freemium

If Freemium is enabled, enter or select the dates and duration when the content will be available to view free.

Download to Go

Select whether subscribers can download items to applicable devices.

Technical Types

Select the technical types applicable to the Live product.

Device Class

Select the

device types

for the Live product.

Creating Live subscriptions

Use this to create a new Live subscription.

  1. On the Live subscription page, click CREATE .

  2. Referring to the Subscription details above, enter and select the required information.

  3. Enter any custom details as required.

  4. Click the CREATE SUBSCRIPTION button to save the details.

The Live subscription should now be available for you to add channels to it.

Adding and removing Live channels

Adding Live channels

Use this to add channels and groups of channels to a Live subscription. For further details, see Adding and removing items.

  1. Select the Live subscription and click Items .

  2. If no live content items already exist, click the ADD CHANNELS button; if live content items already exist, click MANAGE ITEMS .

  3. In the left-panel, locate the required channels and groups, and click the relevant Add add_blue.png  icons. To add all the channels and groups to the subscription, click ADD ALL .

  4. Click the SAVE CHANGES button to save the changes.

Alternatively, you can add a channel to a subscription on the Live Channels page.

  1. On the Live Channels page, select the required channel and click the Subscriptions tab.

  2. In the right-panel, click ADD TO SUBSCRIPTION .

  3. The Add channel to subscription... page is displayed, locate the required channels and select the relevant checkboxes.

  4. Click the ADD TO SUBSCRIPTION button; a confirmation message will be displayed in the banner.

Removing Live channels

Use this to remove channels and groups of channels from a Live subscription. For further details, see Adding and removing items.

  1. Select the Live subscription and click Items .

  2. In the right-panel, click MANAGE CHANNELS .

  3. In the right-panel, locate the unwanted channels and groups, and click the relevant Remove remove_red.png  icons. To remove all the channels and groups from the subscription, click REMOVE ALL .

  4. Click the SAVE CHANGES button to save the changes.
