Channel export

This feature enables you to restrict the export to ION to specific groups of content. For example, you could create groups based on channels - BBC, Sky, ITV, type - entertainment, sport, movies etc.

Creating Channel Export tags

Firstly, you need to create a tag for the channel group; this is done in the first channel you want to include in the group.

1. Display the required channel in Edit mode, and in the left-panel click Global Settings.

2. Click the Channel Export Tags field and enter the name you wish to use for the group.

3. The tag is added to the Channel Export Tagging row, click SAVE CHANGES.

Adding Channel Export tags

To add an export tag to a channel:

1. Display the required channel in Edit mode, and in the left-panel click Global Settings.

2. In the drop-down list, select the required tag. You can reduce the scope of the tags available by entering the first letters of the tag name in the search field.

3. Click the required tag.

4. The tag is added to the Channel Export Tagging row, click SAVE CHANGES.

Removing Channel Export tags

To remove an export tag from a channel:

1. Display the required channel in Edit mode, and in the left-panel click Global Settings.

2. Click the X next to the tag to be removed.

3. The tag is removed from the Channel Export Tagging row, click SAVE CHANGES.
