Manage layout settings
When you create a template, the layout is created automatically. It will contain the settings made in the template, which can be changed if required. See Edit layout properties.
Although Rails Builder allows you to add more than one layout to a template, you should not do this.
If you need to target content to different device types, use segment targeting at the rail level.
Set the layout to Default
To set the layout as the default:
On the Rails Builder page, find and select the template.
To set the layout as the default, click the 3-dot menu and then click Set as Default.
Click Continue to save the settings.
Set the layout to Active
To set the layout to Active:
On the Rails Builder page, find and select the template.
To set the layout to Active, click the 3-dot menu on the layout and then click Set as Active.
Click Continue to save the settings.
A green icon on a template indicates an active layout.
A yellow icon on a template indicates an inactive layout.
