Enabling and disabling Replay TV for channels

You must configure Replay TV features in both the Global settings and also individual Technical channels.

Enabling and disabling Replay TV for a whole channel

To enable Replay TV features for a channel as a whole, including all the Technical channels:

  1. From the top menu, select LIVE and LIVE CHANNELS.

  2. Select the required channel and click  EDIT CHANNEL.

  3. Click Global  Settings and set the relevant Replay TV toggle switch(es) to ON.

  4. To enable Replay TV for all new events on the channel, click the relevant Create Automatically radio button. If Don't Create is left selected, you will have to assign Replay TV manually for each event.

  5. Set the required Guard Time. 

  6. Click the SAVE CHANGES button.

To disable Replay TV features for a channel as a whole, including all the Technical channels:

  1. Navigate to the Global Settings as described above.

  2. Set the relevant Replay TV toggle switch(es) OFF and click the SAVE CHANGES button.

Enabling and disabling Replay TV for a Technical channel 

To enable Replay TV features on a Technical channel:

  1. From the top menu, select LIVE and LIVE CHANNELS and select the required channel.

  2. Select the required Technical channel and click  EDIT CHANNEL.

  3. On the Replay TV tab, set the relevant Replay TV toggle switch(es) to ON.

  4. To enable Replay TV for all new events on the channel, click the relevant Create Automatically radio button.

  5. Referring to the table below, set the additional details.

  6. Click the SAVE CHANGES button.

Set the period for the content to remain available after the end of the event

Content Retention

Set the period for the content to be retained after the end of the event

Content Purge

Set the period for the content to be purged after the retention period expires

Encoder Channel ID

Enter the channel ID from the encoder

Replay TV Profiles

Select all the profiles required against the technical channel

To disable Replay TV on a Technical channel:

  1. Navigate to the Technical channel as described above.

  2. Set the relevant Replay TV toggle switch(es) to OFF and click the SAVE CHANGES button.
