This release comes with the possibility to use Voice Channel change with GoogleTV, already integrated with ION application.
We have also enhanced our Data Model to allow the definition of device specific products or improve product capabilities. We have also implemented the ability to restrict the number of registered devices per account enabled for playout/content consumption. We have also integrated SSP Technical UsageRule Profile, which enables the OPF Platform to set SSP Content Auth Token Usage Rule profiles in Auth Tokens opaquely when a Client requests a playout. Also several improvements around RAILS have been included in this release.
On the OpCon side, we bring a new look and feel to the OpCon Subscribers screen focusing on improved usability. The new screen also has additional functionality such as deep linking into specific accounts, as well as performance and load time optimisations.
Supplementing technical channels missing for Locker migration
EUSKALTEL
The existing Medialive EKT recording configuration utilises some non-standard mechanisms to propagate recordings requests to Harmonic, circumventing the standard approach of multi profiles/technical channels. Metadata results to Clients for LTCU and VOD are "cooked" to cope with these missing technical channels, and for Locker the Client has detailed knowledge of how to construct URL content locations in the absence of these technical channels.
This feature address gaps when migrating to OPF3 via additional scripts and updated NPVR facade abilities.
Canned to Dynamic LTCU - Phase 1

Long-Term Catch-Up is typically catch-up content that is captured from the streaming buffer once an event has been broadcast or provided as a specific VOD asset, either before the actual event broadcast (canned-catch-up) or after the event.
It should be possible to configure the platform so that In the case where LTCU content has already been provided via VOD (canned) the catch-up capture process won't be executed.
It should also be possible to configure the platform so that, if an event has been captured and then the event is subsequently updated to reference some ingested VOD, the captured content will be expired and then a candidate for purge.

Euskaltel are migrating from an OPF2.x platform based on the CMS4.23 specification and, as part of this migration they will still be using the CMS4.23 interface for managing content within OPF3.
This means that OPF3.x CIM MUST support the CMS4.23 ingest specification and, during the phased migration whereby CPM and SDP are both operational, CEX should support the CMS4.23 export format outbound to both SDP and MDS.
This feature is to include such 4.23 support for both ingest and export interfaces via the editorial model.

Euskaltel currently have some bespoke functionality with their export from CMS4. This feature is to ensure that such customisation still exists for Euskaltel in the OPF3.x context.
CEX Deprecation / EKT Phase 2

We need to ensure that any transformations required for Eukaltel as part of CEX/XSLT (29660) can be catered for within the MDS Facade.
Once the EKT specific transforms have been included it should be validated that MDS of OPF2 and MDS of OPF3, via Facade, provide matching results for the client-devices.
Support additional HUE facade APIs

Customers migrating their ML 2.x platform to OPF 3.x are gradually transitioning their Client application, so even though the OPF 3.x headend platform will be used the original ML 2.x API specification Clients need to be supported. In this period until native OPF 3.x Clients are produced transition façades support ML 2.x API Client access to OPF 3.x headend platform service. A case in point is Foxtel HUE façade as defined in Q2'21 Feature E-25518.
Each customer ML 2.x Client application uses a distinct subset of the available ML 2.x APIs from SDP, nPVR and other services. So whereas there is already a strong base of APIs to support customers beyond Foxtel it does not cover all the possible ML 2.x APIs available and thus additional service endpoints may need to be added to support Euskaltel and other customers.
Integration between User Recording and SDP

User Recordings requires ADM and RMG as part of user authentication and authorisation.
In a hybrid OPF3/ML deployment SDP is used for signon/auth etc. hence an interface between User Recordings and SDP is required.
External Exposure of Workflow Status via RMQ

As part of OPF3 Telefonica content workflow project, OPF-CWM is integrating to a Telefonica specific component for content packaging and distribution (Telefonica specific "CFI" component inherited from Nagra CMS CFI codebase).
This feature is to replace the use of CFI XML command files from CWM to TLF-CFI with the use of RMQ based notifications.
Enable data consistency check and logging for Neo4j backups

In this release, data consistency check was implemented for Neo4j backups which validates that the backup copy does not have any inconsistencies and hence, enable the seamless restoration of data when need arises.
Activate and manage credentials for NEO4J in Secrets Manager

Until now, there's no credential or access control to connect to neo4j Database.
In this release, Credentials were established, and access control was properly defined and configured based on least privilege principle i.e.: Different accounts for DB Admin, Applications etc. All secrets were securely provisioned in AWS secrets Manager and Applications retrieve credentials programmatically.

before the playout will be allowed. Playout will be blocked until the device is registered.
