DVB

DVB triplet information is used to retrieve channel metadata to present enhanced information to users. A DVB triplet consists of the following identifiers:

• Original Network ID

• Transport Stream ID

• Service ID

The Network ID is optional:

• For terrestrial channels, a specific Network ID is associated with each major transmission point.

• For satellite channels, it would span many countries.

• For cable channels, it would serve a single country.

Adding DVB Triplet information 

To add DVB Triplet details:

1. Display the relevant Editorial channel in View mode and in the left panel select DVB.

2. If no DVB Triplet information already exists, click the CREATE DVB INFO button; if DVB Triplet information already exists, click ADD NEW .

3. On the DVB Triplet page, enter the Network ID (if required), Original Network ID, Transport Stream ID and Service ID.

4. Click the SAVE CHANGES button; a confirmation message will be displayed in the banner.

Editing DVB Triplet information

To update the DVB Triplet information for a channel:

1. Display the relevant Editorial channel in View mode and in the left panel select DVB.

2. In the relevant channel row, select Edit Regional Settings... from the   menu.

3. Update the details as required and click the SAVE CHANGES button.

Deleting regional settings

To delete a DVB Triplet:

1. Display the relevant Editorial channel in View mode and in the left panel select DVB.

2. In the relevant channel row, select Delete... from the  menu.

3. A pop-up window displays a confirmation message, click the DELETE button.
