Deleting fallback and default images

Request

To delete a fallback image and its associated metadata, send a DELETE request to:

https://<host>:<port>/imagemetadata/v1/fallback/{contentType}

Headers

• Content-Type: image/jpeg

Mandatory arguments

• contentType (in URL) – one of the content types as present in the ingested data. (Supported values will vary depending on the operator, and can include values such as Movie, TV, Channel, Series, and Sports.)

Example 

A DELETE request like this:

https://<host>:<port>/imagemetadata/v1/fallback/movie

... deletes the fallback image for the content type "movie".

Example 

A DELETE request like this:

https://<host>:<port>/imagemetadata/v1/fallback/default

... deletes the default fallback image.

Responses

A successful request returns an HTTP 200 status.

A bad request returns an HTTP 400 status.
