Ncanto provides the ability to define recommendation types using a configuration known as a context.
As a starting point, OPF provides a default set of contexts that is uploaded to Ncanto at system installation by a playbook.
However, one of the benefits of using contexts is that it allows the operator to tailor the recommendation types to suit their own specific needs. For example, a sports-only operator would have very different recommendation requirements from an operator that provided only movies. So the operator is free to edit these contexts, add new ones, or replace them entirely.
Editing and creating contexts can be done using XroadMedia's Piloto tool.
