Release Summary
This release comes with improvements on the Operator Console that will help to handle content deletion as a bulk operation or short/extend live events for catch-up. We are also adding the integration with Gracenote ON for data ingestion.

This release includes support for bulk deletion, in a similar manner to the existing bulk copy and move of nodes.

Feature to extract data from 2.x service SRM to enable the data extracts required by Euskaltel for reporting to continue in 3.x.
In order to support existing STB operators who do not have the ability to report data via insight SDK or UAV but do already have SRM in place we will set up a data feed from SRM to OPF3 for use in reporting.
Dynamic Content Groups - DCG OpCon Management Completion

This feature provides additional UI management for Dynamic Content Groups via OpCon.
Specifically:
• Association of a DCG with a node via the UI
• The ability to restrict the population of a DCG to content from a specific node.
• The ability to set the ordering of the DCG within a node.

Client MDRM and License API facade

This Features supports Claro Brasil migration requirements in the area of Medialive MDRM and SDP License APIs as used by Claro STB. Facade APIs are provided to mimic the request and response of existing Client API calls within the OPF 3 framework, ensuring continuity for Medialive 2.x-based Client devices.
Search Façade improvements

The implementation of the lucene syntax is different between SAS and Search Facade.
The correct implementation is used by SAS.
SAS also has a schema implementation which tells the Visual Search component in OpCon which fields are available for the search, e.g. the title is actually title_s, it would be helpful if this was available for the Search Façade
Port Claro CAF Geolocation APIs in Client facades
CLB
Claro are using a custom Geolocation service based on a NodeJS and Redis CAF framework. Two Client APIs are provided by this service, getLocationInfo and getServiceList, used by Client applications to discover their region and filter metadata responses accordingly. This feature supports access to the original service via Client facade APIs that route the original request to the correct service location.
OPF3.x MDS Caching Sidecar

Following a round of client-side performance testing it was identified that adding nginx (or another cache such as within envoy) had a significant positive impact on MDS and CDF performance.
This feature is for adding a cache sidecar to both MDS and CDF, specifically validated for use with Dynamic Content Groups

To improve the CWM to encoder integration/communication. As you may know, last week we encountered an issue(the requests towards encoders were failing) at QXC and the root cause was that CWM uses request headers which are large and may lead to failures in the communication.
Content Auth Bypass (a.k.a. OPF RED Button)

When under load, the increased response times of components downstream of IAS (specifically CPM), is increasing the latency the IAS/RMG isContentAuth flow to a point that it is adversely impacting the end user experience.
The solution allows an operator to configure IAS to short circuit many of the checks it carries out during the isContentAuth flow, this includes the call to CPM, Geo checks, session management and device restrictions etc.
Content Metadata Ingestion via Gracenote ON

For customers who use Gracenote as their metadata provider, we have created a new OPF service to ingest data from Gracenote On API's
This new service will allow OPF to ingest data from Gracenote more efficiently, we can now ingest just the changes to the metadata since the last import (deltas), this allows the
service to be more efficient in its data processing reducing the time taken to import meta data, allowing the service to be configured to run more frequently if required and
resulting in less overall load on downstream services.
Shorting/Extending On-going Live event on OpConsole doesn't reflect changes on CU CaptureJob

This feature has been created to address issue raised on FIH/PMH for Shorting/Extending On-going Live event.
One of the very common operations during Live events on PMH and FIH customers is to short a certain Live Event as it is going to finish earlier than the original scheduled time.
As operator, I would like to cut the endTime of the event while the event is being still broadcasted and short its duration.
This is feasible using opConsole but this duration changes are not getting reflected to the WFM LTCU_Capture job attached to the event.
