Overview
Every head-end vendor provides its own API for capturing assets for Long-Term Catch-Up (LTCU) and network PVR (nPVR).
To support other head-end vendors, the design of OpenTV Video Platform allows you to plug "head-end adapters" into the Workflow Manager (WFM) that integrate with each interface while isolating the OpenTV Video Platform (in particular the User Recordings service for nPVR, and the Content and Products Manager (CPM) for LTCU) from the specifics of each vendor.
