Manage topics

View topics

The Message Management app home page displays a list of all topic items.

In additional to manually-created topics, OpenTV Platform automatically creates a topic for each segment that has been created. See Segment targeting.

Do not delete segment-based topics. (If you do, they will be re-created automatically.)

To view a specific topic item:

  1. Search for the required topic.

  2. Click on the topic to view its details.

  3. Click Devices in the sidebar menu for details of devices that have been linked to the topic.

Edit a topic

To edit a topic:

  1. Click the required topic in the list to view its details.

  2. Click the Edit Topic button.

  3. Make the required changes.

  4. Click the Save button.

Delete a topic

To delete a topic:

  1. Find the topic in the topic list and click the trashcan icon image-20241004-153712.png on the right.

  2. Click Continue to confirm.
