Preview a layout

Preview mode

Preview mode in Rails Builder enables you to visualize how a layout will look in the TV app. This is particularly useful when you’ve created a new layout or made changes to an existing one.

To preview a layout:

1. Click the Preview button at the top right of the layout screen.

2. Select a device format using the tabs at the top of the screen:

   • Monitor

   • Tablet

   • Phone Landscape

   • Phone Portrait

3. To close the preview and return to the Rails Builder layout screen, click the blue Layout button at the top right of the screen.
