Using blueprints

Blueprints are predefined designs and settings that enable you to add rails and components quickly and efficiently. Designed to meet the most popular layout and configuration needs, they provide consistency within teams and help to streamline your workflow.

Predefined blueprints

The Rail strip blueprints provided are:

• Standard strip

• Magazine strip

• Promotional strip

The Custom Component blueprints provided are:

• Advertisement banner

• Application

• Feature banner

• Pre-installed application

The Key/value Pair Group blueprints provided are:

• Android Channels API

Customizing blueprints

If none of the predefined blueprints match your exact requirements, or you wish to explore new blueprint possibilities, there are two customization options:

Create a new variant of a predefined rail blueprint

This new variant would be available to all for selection on the relevant blueprint Select screen.

Design a new custom blueprint

This would be an entirely new custom blueprint and would be available for selection under Custom on the sidebar.
